Job Description

MUSC Health is seekinga dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Occupational/Employee Health team in the Pee Dee area on a PRN basis.

About MUSC Occupational Health – Pee Dee Division:

The APP will primarily provide on-site primary and occupational healthcare services for clinics across the Pee Dee region. The role is office-based, offering a consistent outpatient schedule within an employer-supported clinic environment. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and contribution to the development of health partnerships within the industry setting.

Required and

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below.

  • Physician Assistant
OR
  • APRN License Type/Certification:
    Department will need to choose the appropriate credential below for the APRN based on the patient population age and remove all other options.

  • AGPNP/ANP (Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP or Adult NP):
    Adult pts (13 years to death), stable chronic disease state management or primary care setting.

  • FNP (Family NP):(birth to death) Stable chronic disease state management, primary care across the lifespan.

Also,
  • DHEC and DEA license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Experience inanoccupational and primary care setting.

  • Additional certifications in occupational health, student health, or related areas.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and compliance.

  • Prior Occupational Health experience as a provider.

  • DOT required

  • DOT drug testing certification required and can provide certificate
