** Froedtert Theda Care**, a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks an
** experienced*
* ** Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
** to join our
** APC Faculty team
** for our
** Appleton, WI
** location.
** Position Highlights**:
* ** 0.25 FTE
** opportunity working with fall and spring cohort fellows during their 12-month long program
** one day a week
*** Supervise, teach, and mentor APCs enrolled in the fellowship program
* Directly responsible for giving learners formal feedback daily, reviewing and observing direct patient care, and attesting APC fellow documentation
* Responsible for teaching principles of point-of-care evidence-based medicine, and participate in their own development as faculty
* Collaborate with and provide feedback to APC Fellowship Task Force for continuous improvement of the APC Fellowship program
*
* Qualifications:
*** PA-C or NP
* ** Minimum experience of at least 3 years practicing as an APC in a Primary Care clinic setting and certification in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine
*** Active Wisconsin medical license and in good standing as well as in good standing within organization and current clinical practice setting
