Patient Access Registrar - 2nd Shift ED

Theda Care -  - Responsibilities:
Assigns accurate MRNs, completes medical necessity/compliance checks, provides patient instructions and collects insurance information;
Performs pre-registration of patient accounts including inbound and outbound calling to obtain demographic, insurance, and financial information;
Operates the telephone switchboard and provides excellent customer service;
Explains general consent for treatment forms and obtains signatures; distributes patient education documents;
Reviews eligibility responses and enters benefit data to support point-of-service collections and billing processes
