Part Time PRN - Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN to deliver therapy interventions and treatments under the guidance of a physical therapist, focusing on home health care. The role involves assessing patients, providing skilled therapy, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Provide direct physical therapy services following the physician’s plan of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation, safety, and device use.
• Communicate patient progress and observations to supervisors and physicians.
• Assist in planning discharge and ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain documentation, record patient progress, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Participate in training and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and policy adherence.

• Flexibility to work PRN during weekdays in various counties.
