Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and clinical-focused Licensed Psychologist to fulfill a 26-week contract engagement at a state correctional facility located in Green Bay, WI. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to practice forensic and behavioral mental health care in a structured, secure, and collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Operating on a predictable 8-hour day schedule, the incoming practitioner will deliver essential psychological assessments, crisis interventions, and individual therapy without the insurance billing complexities or corporate production metrics inherent in traditional private healthcare systems.

Compensation &

Schedule:
  • Weekly Earnings: Up to $4,600+ per week
  • Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal period)
  • Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
  • Benefits: Predictable day-shift schedule, long-term 26-week stability, guaranteed weekly hours, and an immediate start timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk screenings for incarcerated individuals.
  • Deliver evidence-based individual therapy, crisis management, and immediate de-escalation interventions to maintain safety and support rehabilitation.
  • Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to complex behavioral and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with an on-site multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, social workers, correctional nurses, and security personnel.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical electronic health record (EHR) documentation in compliance with state correctional standards and professional guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin (or active compact/interjurisdictional authorization where applicable).
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (Correctional or Forensic experience is a plus, but all adaptable clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to successfully clear a comprehensive state background check, security clearance, and facility safety vetting.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent diagnostic judgment, and a commitment to safe, trauma-informed patient care.
