About the Role

Under the direction of a Licensed Therapist or Licensed Psychologist, this role provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, with a strong emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy services.
  • Facilitate DBT-focused individual and group therapy, including skills training in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, develop diagnoses, and create collaborative treatment plans.
  • Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building services to clients and supports.
  • Participate in treatment/recovery team meetings and clinical supervision.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and client records.
  • Provide trauma-informed, person-centered care aligned with agency standards and evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Eligibility for a Wisconsin training license (APSW, LPC-IT, or MFT-IT).
  • Practicum experience in behavioral health services required.
  • Experience or training in DBT strongly preferred; willingness to complete DBT-specific training required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
