* * No Experience Required, Willing to Train Activities & Companionship Respite Services As Needed, Casual Pick up Respite Caregiver Needed – As-Needed Position We are looking for a caring, dependable respite caregiver to provide in-home support for a young boy on the autism spectrum.
This is an as-needed respite position, with scheduling based on the family’s needs and caregiver availability. Overnight shifts available at $246.06 per overnight
About the role:
* Provide supervision and companionship in the family’s home
* Assist with minor care needs as needed
* Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment
* Encourage independence while being available when support is needed
* Engage in age-appropriate activities and provide a positive, supportive presence
He is a fairly independent young boy who is able to take care of most of his own needs. This position is primarily about supervision, companionship, and providing his parents with some much-needed respite.
The ideal caregiver is patient, responsible, kind, and comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum.
