The Swim-Up Bar Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for guests enjoying Serpent’s Bay. This role blends hospitality, efficiency, and personality—delivering handcrafted beverages with energy while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging poolside environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys interacting with guests, and takes pride in creating memorable moments that elevate the resort experience.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences.
- Provide friendly, engaging, and attentive service to guests in and around the swim-up bar area.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and resort policies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations.
- Monitor guest behavior and consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with Recreation/Activities and Food & Beverage teams to support overall pool operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including pool safety awareness.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
- Always uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Previous bartending experience preferred; hospitality or resort experience strongly desired.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service per state law.
- Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy environment.
