- Prepare, set up, and maintain breakfast and evening reception food and beverage displays in accordance with established hotel standards.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet brand and health department requirements.
- Greet and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner, promptly responding to questions or service requests.
- Monitor buffet and dining areas, replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout service periods.
- Break down and clean food and beverage stations, service areas, and equipment after each service is complete, ensuring all items are properly sanitized, stored, and ready for the next shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safe work environment in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Accurately record usage, waste, and supply needs; assist with inventory management and ordering processes.
- Support special events or functions as assigned.
- Accurately stock and replenish in-room honor bars with beverages, snacks, and other premium items in accordance with par levels and hotel guidelines.
- Conduct daily inventory and record product usage to ensure accurate guest billing and proper cost controls.
- Verify that all honor bars are clean, operational, and neatly arranged, replacing any expired or damaged products as necessary.
- Report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues to the appropriate department promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product offerings and hotel standards related to the guest room experience.
- Uphold all company procedures related to room access, privacy, and guest security.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and health regulations.
- Complete end-of-shift reports, restock carts, and secure all inventory and cash handling materials.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Assistant Front Desk Manager and Chef.
This is a casual part-time position available working weekdays and weekends. Typical shifts vary between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in hospitality management, culinary arts, or food and beverage service is preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service required.
- Previous experience in a luxury or full-service hotel environment is highly desirable.
- Prior restaurant, kitchen, or dining area experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of food preparation methods, kitchen operations, and the use of related equipment and materials.
- Ability to read and comprehend chemical and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations required.
- Wisconsin Bartender’s License and Serv Safe Certification (or the ability to obtain upon hire) required.
- Food Handler’s Certification preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $16.20 - $24.30.
