In this Talent Acquisition Specialist role, you'll be the trusted recruiting expert supporting a wide variety of positions across TDS ranging from contact center and consumer sales roles to administrative, technical, and professional positions. While our preferred candidate will be based in Madison, WI, we are open to considering applicants located in our other Wisconsin markets as well.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, ensuring we bring in the best talent across a variety of positions and departments.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to source, attract, and engage candidates nationwide, utilizing both traditional and innovative methods.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to understand their hiring needs, providing expert guidance and consultation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on recruitment processes and candidate interactions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a highly effective, collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) – OR – 4+ years professional work experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience as a full lifecycle recruiter.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes as well as demonstrated sourcing, networking, screening, and assessing interview skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of the selection process and successfully manage a high volume workload.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, multiple recruiting sources. Proven track record of innovative recruiting initiatives and campaigns desired.
  • Must have knowledge of up‑to‑date Human Resource policies, standard practices; laws and regulations and proposed changes and the ability to apply them consistently.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of staff and applicants.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with SAP and ATS helpful.
  • PHR certification a plus.
  • Must be available for some travel.
