Worker's Compensation & Leave Coordinator
The Worker’s Compensation/Leave of Absence Coordinator will lead all aspects of the workers comp and leave management program across all locations. This person will prepare, send correspondence, enter status updates on files, administer company policy in regards to Worker's Compensation, FMLA, WMLA, Short and Long Term Disability, as well as, provide excellent customer service. The individual will be the company’s subject matter expert with all workers’ compensation and leave of absence cases.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Administer company policies regarding Leave of absence, and Worker’s Compensation
- Knowledge of FMLA, WMLA, Short Term & Long-Term Disability
- Partner with insurance carriers
- Partner with medical facilities and providers on claims
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence daily
- Work directly with employees in a one-on-one setting or over the phone to assist with inquiries about leave questions and policies
- Provide leadership to HR teams across the organization with case management updates
- Participate in department projects and initiatives in an efficient and positive manner
- Ability to stay up to date and follow government regulations around WC/LOA
- Partner with legal counsel on an as needed basis.
- Ability to multitask between several cases at one time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates degree required or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience including worker’s compensation and leave of absence
- Cloud based HCM system experience preferred (UKG)
- Ability to process and maintain confidential information
