Overview

Search Solution Group is seeking a Compensation Manager on behalf of our client, a farm and livestock retail company. The Compensation Manager will lead the development and execution of the organization s compensation strategy. This role reports directly to the CHRO and offers the opportunity to build and modernize compensation programs, establish best practices, and serve as a strategic business partner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organization s compensation philosophy and long-term compensation strategy.
  • Evaluate and redesign salary structures, pay ranges, midpoint analysis, and compensation ratios.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation survey tools.
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to provide strategic compensation guidance.
  • Review and recommend compensation adjustments, promotions, and organizational changes.
  • Support annual compensation planning, merit increases, and incentive programs.
  • Maintain compensation policies, procedures, and governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Utilize UKG and other HR systems to manage compensation data and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes and build scalable programs to support future growth.
  • Collaborate with the CHRO on Total Rewards initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements Education
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Master s degree or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
Experience
  • Progressive experience in compensation or Total Rewards, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment.
  • Experience developing or rebuilding compensation programs and salary structures.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic compensation initiatives.
  • Experience using UKG and compensation survey platforms such as Pay Factors preferred.
  • Leadership experience within Compensation or Total Rewards is highly preferred.
Skills
  • Compensation strategy development.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS platforms.

  • Best practices in Total Rewards and organizational design.
