Job Overview
Eaton’s IS VEH EMB Automotive Mobility division is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $115,000 a year, based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
LocationThis role is located at our Carol Stream, IL manufacturing site and requires on‑site presence. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently residing in the USA.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary full‑spectrum generalist HR support for Carol Stream.
- Support deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition and development, and work practices to improve the organizational capability of the site.
- Own the site data reporting and analysis process; provide suggested actions to the site HRM; monitor the performance of HR key indicators, HR programs and initiatives, enabling a data‑based decision‑making process; ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and regular audits.
- Support local recruiting, including interviews and selection; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, laws, and goals.
- Assist managers and employees with understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance and drive culture, including performance management, employee development, succession planning and retention.
- Conduct investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; provide summary reports and recommended actions to site HRM and regional HRD; support activities and processes to promote positive employee relations.
- Collaborate with HR Services on transactional HR matters.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Previous experience leading employee relations, training, onboarding, workforce planning, and performance management initiatives.
- Candidate will not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Five years of experience in human resources.
- Experience and exposure to various manufacturing environments.
- Data analytics experience.
- Experience developing and tracking training programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, able to manage multiple projects.
- Bi‑lingual English/Spanish.
