HR Technology Manager

Overview

Greenheck Group seeks an HR Technology Manager to own the technical ownership and day-to-day management of the HR technology ecosystem, with Workday as the core HCM platform. The role requires managing HR systems and integrations, including connections with SAP and third-party vendor systems. You will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant HR data flow across the enterprise.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources IT Technology team.
• Oversee the development and implementation of new HR systems and solutions.
• Develop systematic and automated processes to improve work efficiency, including Workday ecosystem and other HR technology solutions.
• Prioritize and oversee the HR technology project portfolio, balancing business priorities, resource availability, and system enhancement opportunities.
• Partner with HR Leadership and the CHRO to develop and maintain the HR technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve processes and employee experience.
• Serve as the primary HR technology liaison to HR leadership, IT, and key business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational priorities.
• Coordinate with IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance.
• Stay current with Workday and HR systems to recommend innovative solutions or new technologies.
• Manage and oversee HR’s full technical systems landscape, maintaining secure, available, and performant systems.
• Establish and maintain HR technology governance practices, data standards, and system controls to support compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Delegate tasks to team members and third-party consultants to ensure alignment with project priorities.
• Oversee technical issues and training for HR systems analysts.
• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and functional standards for HR systems and integrations.

• 6-8 years of relevant work experience in HR technology, HRIS, or HR IT roles.
• 6-8 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• 4-year/bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience supporting HR system integrations with SAP and third-party vendors (preferred).
• Experience supporting HR shared services or large HR user communities (preferred).
• Workday HCM experience required; knowledge of multiple Workday modules preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and reporting (preferred).
• Workday certification or HR technology certifications (preferred).

Travel to the Schofield, WI campus is required 10-25% of the time. Ideal candidates will be within commuting distance to Schofield, WI or Minneapolis, MN.

Greenheck Group offers competitive total compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary range for this role is $144,462-$178,453, with opportunities for additional variable compensation based on performance.
