Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards Project Manager to join our growing team of consultants. This position requires deep expertise in JD Edwards ERP systems and proven experience leading complex ERP implementations and upgrades. Ideal candidates will also possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and project lifecycle best practices.
The role will focus on managing multiple concurrent ERP-related projects, including data migration, cutover planning, and overall project execution across all phases—initiate, plan, execute, control, and close. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders while developing robust project documentation and managing all aspects of enterprise-level project delivery.
Essential Functions- Lead and manage JD Edwards ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations with associated project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with customer expectations for timelines, quality, and cost.
- Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing, to ensure data integrity throughout all project phases.
- Plan and manage cutover activities for ERP go-lives, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for project stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and customers.
- Create, maintain, and distribute project documentation using platforms such as SharePoint and Teams, ensuring clarity and consistency in communication.
- Monitor and control project budgets and resource usage; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Drive project execution using a mix of traditional and Agile methodologies tailored to the needs of JD Edwards projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical developers, and infrastructure teams, to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Promote project management best practices, focusing on ERP-specific methodologies, documentation standards, and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project health and proactively resolve potential risks or roadblocks.
- Support end-user readiness activities, including training coordination and transition planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience, including leading JD Edwards ERP projects.
- Proven experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One, including full lifecycle implementation and post-go-live support.
- Demonstrated experience with data migration and cutover planning in ERP environments.
- PMI Certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
