We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer with 6+ years of hands‑on experience to join our team onsite in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, container platforms, CI/CD automation, and Dev Ops best practices. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and Open Shift (OCP).
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, etc.).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and pull requests using Git Hub.
- Monitor system performance, application availability, and security; proactively resolve issues.
- Work closely with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement Dev Ops best practices including infrastructure as code, version control, and automation.
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience as a Dev Ops Engineer.
- Strong experience with Open Shift (OCP).
- Proven expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in Git Hub for source control and collaboration.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- AWS, Kubernetes, or Open Shift certifications.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
- Experience working in an enterprise or large‑scale production environment.
