Are you energized by building something new? As an IT Client Technology Specialist, you’ll drive the growth of LC Plus Technology through client engagement, solution development, and sales-focused execution in a fast-growing managed services environment.

The IT Client Technology Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth and execution of LC Plus – Technology through pipeline development, client outreach, pre-sales support, vendor coordination, and operational accuracy. This role works in close partnership with the Client Technology Manager to identify opportunities, support solution development, maintain accurate client and billing information, and ensure follow-through across technology business development activities.

The Specialist enables consistent execution of client technology practices while supporting long-term growth and scalability.

This position operates in a startup managed services environment and balances revenue execution with the development of repeatable, scalable ways of working.

Essential Competencies
  • Support and execute technology business development activities for LC Plus – Technology.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records across CRM, pipeline, billing inputs, and vendor documentation.
  • Track lead generation, opportunity progression, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify execution gaps, risks, or delays and escalate appropriately to the Client Technology Manager.
  • Ensure assigned tasks and commitments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with identifying potential technology opportunities based on client needs, signals, and context.
  • Support opportunity qualification and preparation of pre-sales materials and documentation.
  • Apply guidance from the Client Technology Manager to prioritize activities and adapt execution.
  • Adjust approach based on changing client needs, vendor requirements, or market conditions.
  • Support client outreach, engagement, and follow-up activities.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of vendor and partner relationships.
  • Represent LC Plus – Technology at networking, marketing, and community events as appropriate.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional presence for LC Plus – Technology in the community.
  • Support development and execution of marketing, outreach, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Assist with analysis of pipeline data, trends, and opportunity flow.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve how Client Technology executes business development activities.
  • Support adoption of new tools, processes, and practices as the function matures.
  • Pursue relevant technical and sales-adjacent certifications as identified by the Client Technology Manager.
  • Develop working knowledge of core technology offerings, service models, vendor platforms, and partner solutions.
  • Demonstrate growing independence, confidence, and throughput over time.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and timely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Support accurate and consistent information flow related to opportunities, purchasing, and billing.
  • Ensure clean and complete handoffs of information between Client Technology and delivery teams.
  • Maintain awareness of role boundaries to protect delivery focus and client experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience preferred (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business development, sales support, marketing, or client-facing roles.
  • Driven interest in technology, managed services, and client enablement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, relationship development, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to pursue technical and sales-related certifications.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required.
