Business Analyst | Manufacturing

Description We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a manufacturing-focused technology team in Appleton, Wisconsin in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This hybrid opportunity requires regular onsite collaboration and offers the chance to partner with business leaders, technical teams, and operational stakeholders in a large enterprise setting. The role is centered on defining business needs, improving manufacturing-related processes and systems, and supporting implementation efforts through testing, data preparation, and go-live readiness.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with manufacturing stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify business needs, clarify priorities, and translate operational challenges into well-defined requirements.

- Create and maintain business analysis documentation, including process flows, requirements artifacts, gap assessments, and solution mappings for enterprise initiatives.

- Support implementation activities by coordinating user acceptance testing, documenting outcomes, and helping teams resolve issues before deployment.

- Contribute to data preparation and conversion efforts by validating information, assisting with migration planning, and helping ensure manufacturing setups are ready for launch.

- Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to keep communication clear, align expectations, and support delivery across multiple work streams.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project activities, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint to track progress, manage documentation, and maintain visibility.

- Work closely with fellow analysts on the Business Technology team to support large-scale initiatives in an enterprise environment.

- Help evaluate current processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, system usage, and overall operational effectiveness within manufacturing functions. Requirements - At least 7 years of business analysis experience, preferably within manufacturing or related enterprise environments.

- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements while working with diverse stakeholder groups.

- Experience supporting large cross-functional initiatives, including implementation, conversion, or enterprise application projects.

- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes, with the ability to align business needs to practical technology solutions.

- Hands-on experience with user testing, gap analysis, and implementation support activities.

- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.

- Experience with ERP platforms such as Acumatica is strongly preferred.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to serve effectively as a liaison between business and technical teams. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
