About the role
We’re seeking a Sr. Property Claims Adjuster to join our field claims team. You will provide a consistent, positive, and satisfying claims experience for clients through proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims. This role involves full‑time field work in the Milwaukee, WI area, and uses innovative technologies such as drones for property inspections and virtual claim handling software to guide clients through the process.
Responsibilities- Investigate claims to determine applicable policy coverage, evaluate damages, negotiate and settle assigned claims.
- Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
- Complete physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
- Maintain appropriate adjuster’s licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
- Obtain and maintain Part
107 drone license required for roof inspections, passing the exam within 3 attempts and within 5 months of start date. - Work in a professional office or home environment and use standard office equipment.
- Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate and may be called upon for catastrophic duty.
- Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Valid adjuster license in the relevant state(s).
- Drone certification (Part
107) as described above. - Experience with virtual claim handling software and property inspections.
Base Pay Range: $77,600 - $106,700. Short‑Term Incentive plan available.
