Crop Claims Field Adjuster

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Crop Claims Field Adjuster to join our Insurance team. In this field-based role, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve crop insurance claims, conduct farm visits, document findings, and ensure accurate, timely claim decisions in line with company and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with agents, policyholders, and internal partners to deliver excellent customer service while supporting Zurich's commitment to risk management.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and handle crop insurance claims for agricultural policyholders in assigned territory
• Conduct on-site field inspections of crops and acreage, documenting conditions and measuring production
• Verify reported yields, planting information, and loss conditions against policy terms and regulatory requirements
• Gather and analyze yield and loss data to calculate accurate claim payments
• Use mobile claims systems, mapping tools, and standard forms to document inspections and claim decisions
• Communicate with farmers, agents, and internal staff to explain coverage, findings, and claim status
• Ensure compliance with RCIS, Zurich, and applicable federal and state crop insurance regulations
• Maintain organized, accurate claim files and submit required documentation within established timelines
• Collaborate with senior adjusters and risk management staff to understand loss trends and risk drivers
• Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and manage travel and scheduling across assigned field territory
