Summary
Hatz Diesel, an international diesel engine manufacturer, is currently seeking an Account Manager to support the group objective of delivering high‑quality and innovative power solutions to our customers in new and existing industrial market segments.
The Territory Service Manager will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and providing support on all Hatz products. The role includes technical/service, warranty, parts, training, and other forms of support within the Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming States. The TSM will act as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for key accounts, direct OEMs, and distributors in the designated territory.
This position covers the Central and Western United States and can be fully remote.
Essential Responsibilities of the Account Manager- Provide onsite diagnostic and technical assistance to customers to resolve ongoing issues.
- Provide onsite training to distributors, direct OEMs, key accounts, and dealers.
- Log all actions using the internal ticketing system.
- Act as SME on all Hatz America, Inc. products.
- Communicate product or customer‑related issues to appropriate internal support teams.
- Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information regarding service, warranty, and parts for Hatz America, Inc. products.
- Assist with engineering application reviews in the field as needed.
- Make determinations regarding goodwill and policy adjustments.
- Represent the company at regional trade shows and open houses as required.
- Assist with campaigns, recalls, or repairs as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Service‑oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Highly knowledgeable in the theory, function, and diagnostic process of diesel engines and electrical systems.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- 5+ years of experience as a technician, product support, or training professional required.
- Trade school graduate is highly desired.
