Educational Interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE Educational Interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Paraprofessional at a location TBD beginning as soon as possible. We are actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DH/H) Interpreter to join our supportive educational environment. This is a vital role focused on ensuring our DH/H students have equitable access to all aspects of their education, from classroom instruction and extracurricular activities to social interactions.
We're looking for a professional with a DPI certification and a strong command of American Sign Language (ASL). 35 hrs/wk (M-F)
