DHH Educational Interpreter Paraprofessional - FTE - Morgan Building

The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE Educational Interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Paraprofessional at a location TBD beginning as soon as possible.

We are actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DH/H) Interpreter to join our supportive educational environment. This is a vital role focused on ensuring our DH/H students have equitable access to all aspects of their education, from classroom instruction and extracurricular activities to social interactions.

We're looking for a professional with a DPI certification and a strong command of American Sign Language (ASL). If you have prior experience interpreting in K-12 settings and are committed to fostering an inclusive and empowering learning experience for all students, we encourage you to apply.

Completion of an Interpreter Training Program AND a DPI License in Educational Interpreting
