Position
Title: Logistics Specialist IV (Weekend Days)
Location: Appleton, WI, US

Education and Experience Requirements- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4 years experience in inventory/logistics.
- Expert proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Under minimal supervision, execute complex material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks to support manufacturing and logistics operations. Ensure efficient and accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Optimize inventory flow and support strategic initiatives. Serve as a senior expert and mentor, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Essential Functions- Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers.
- Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
- Oversee advanced material handling and inventory processes.
- Resolve complex discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Manage international shipments and export compliance.
- Obtain CDI, Q, PQ, or RI stamp.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Corridor).
- Support AOG needs.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality by following procedures, identifying hazards, and ensuring work meets regulatory and company standards.
- Handle, transport and prepare shipment of Dangerous Goods per DOT, FAA and other applicable standards.
- Mentor and train staff.
- Communicate and follow up on discrepancies.
- Lead audits and reconciliation.
- Ensure adherence to brand protection and material handling standards.
- Obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and meet training requirements.
- Support Lean and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in strategic planning.
- Perform other duties as required (e.g., DOT, Hazmat, Special Offloads, Customs and Carrier requirements).
- Valid driver's license.
- Certification to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Compliance with FAA Regulations and all Quality procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work all shifts and weekends.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
