Supply Chain Intern for the summer of 2026 with the potential towork either full-time or part-time into the fall 2026 semester. The Supply Chain Intern will drive material by expediting or deferring components, placingorders, filling shortages and component maintenance.

Starting as a hardware supply store during the California Gold Rush and eventually assisted in the birth of the aerospace industry in Southern California by providing aircraft aluminum to early aerospace pioneers like Lindbergh, Douglas and Lockheed.

Today Ducommun is a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Our Facility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries.

• Additional job responsibilities will include:
• Involvement with Supply chain projects including Improve DOI (Days of inventory), PPV(purchase price variance), and DPO (Days payable outstanding).
• Developingsupply chain programs for individual components.
• Work directly with suppliers to ensure supply is pipelined to our needs.
• Proposeprocess changes to improve supply chain performance.
• Mustbe willing and able to work additional hours as necessary.
• Acceptableattendance is an essential function of the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position.

• Currently enrolled and working to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in
• Supply Chain preferred. Junior or Seniorstatus in the 2026 spring semester.
• Knowledge of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning).
• Previous experience with an ERP system a plus.
• APICScertification preferred but not required.

• Abilityto read and write reports and business correspondence.
• Abilityto effectively present information to peers and management.
• Solidcritical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas,v-lookups and pivot tables.
• Mustbe able to communicate effectively.
