Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing and efficient work activities
- Lead key financial processes including Month End Close, bank reconciliations, managing the chart of accounts, and ensuring timely debt payments
- Supervise and manage Accounting Personnel, coordinating their work, recruiting, training, providing timely feedback, and conducting personnel reviews
- Maintain control and compliance by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring a documented system of internal controls
- Support Budgeting and Reporting by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, calculating variances, and preparing necessary reports for management
- Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience) is required
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or division
- Required experience managing processes and overseeing staff in an accounting function
- Strong knowledge of Audit, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Tracking Budget Expenses
- Experience with Developing Budgets and Analyzing Information
- Working knowledge of maintaining a system of internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
