The Role
As a Project Manager
, the individual will lead projects from concept through construction—balancing client engagement, team coordination, and technical precision. They will be responsible for ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while fostering strong relationships with clients and consultants.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse mix of project types, including senior living communities, mixed-use/multifamily developments, and hospitality or hotel projects. The Project Manager will bring versatility and leadership to projects that require both creative problem-solving and technical expertise—comfortably flexing between big-picture strategy and hands-on production as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of project delivery, including entitlement, permitting, and construction administration.
- Client & Consultant Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication and strong working relationships.
- Design Progress Oversight: Monitor drawings and deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations, project goals, and quality standards.
- Team Mentorship & Support: Guide and mentor project architects and designers; delegate tasks effectively to support team success.
- Financial & Schedule Management: Manage contracts, budgets, and timelines to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Licensed Architect with 5+ years of project management experience
, ideally within senior living and mixed-use/multifamily markets - Strong working knowledge of building codes and licensing regulations, including IBC, Wisconsin DHS, and NFPA 101
- Proficiency in Revit and established project delivery standards
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients and consultants
- Collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and team development
- Detail-oriented problem solver with a commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with adaptability and confidence
