Our client is an organization in the Appleton, WI area looking for a VP of Auto Centers. This company is looking for someone with demonstrated success leading a business unit with full P&L ownership, and a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. This leader will drive strategy, implement best practices, and lead change management initiatives across a geographically dispersed field organization.
This position is on-site based in the Appleton or Minneapolis areas with travel to various locations throughout the Midwest.
The VP of Auto Centers will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap to drive profitable growth for the Auto Centers.
- Evaluate and redefine the Auto Centers value proposition, service mix, pricing strategy, and customer experience model.
- Lead transformation initiatives with clear milestones, financial targets, and accountability measures.
- Partner with the Chief Retail Operations Officer and Executive Leadership Team to align the Auto Centers strategy with broader company objectives.
- Establish clear operating KPIs, dashboards, and performance management routines.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on service quality, cycle time, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure effective inventory management, equipment utilization, and preventative maintenance programs.
The VP of Auto Centers will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in automotive services, multi-unit and/or big-box retail operations, or a similar service-intensive environment
- Demonstrated success leading a business unit with full P&L ownership and accountability for profitability.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
- Deep understanding of labor-driven service models, productivity metrics, and field operations.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a geographically dispersed environments.
- Hands-on approach and autonomous work.
