Food Safety & Quality Manager job at LaSalle Network. Appleton, WI. LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of one of the largest and most recognized companies in the global frozen food industry. They are seeking a Food Safety and Quality Manager to manage their team in Appleton, WI.
The Food Safety and Quality Manager will lead a tenured food safety team and oversee implementation and management of all food safety and quality assurance programs. The ideal candidate will be a strong manager of people and bring proven food quality and safety experience from a food or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
Food Safety and Quality Manager Responsibilities- Lead plant wide food safety and quality activities across all phases of production
- Lead the deployment of quality strategy at the site, driving continuous improvement initiatives and standardizing best practices across operations
- Oversee food safety incidents at the site level, determining the appropriate corrective and preventive actions
- Responsible for the communication of new or updated regulatory policies
- Assist in the development and deployment of food safety and quality training programs
- Supervise daily activities of department personnel, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with quality standards
- Emphasize team development through coaching, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline required
- 7+ years of management experience in a food safety and quality role
- Strong people management experience – ability to lead, grow, and mentor large teams
