We are seeking a Government Contract Accounting Manager to help build and lead Boldt’s capabilities in federal contracting. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high‑impact role where you’ll establish the foundation for government accounting, compliance, and reporting across a growing portfolio of projects. Ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑evolving environment, this role partners across finance, operations, and leadership to support contract execution and ensure compliance.

If you’re an expert in FAR, CAS, and government cost accounting and are energized by building something from the ground up this role offers the autonomy, influence, and visibility to make a lasting impact while helping expand Boldt’s presence in a stable, growth‑oriented market.

What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, or operations management.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in government contracting, including pre‑award and post‑award contract management.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FAR and CAS, including experience with Incurred Cost Proposals/Submissions (ICP/ICS), Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRA), and certified cost or pricing data requirements.
  • Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the person’s ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle for business travel purposes.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and improving systems and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly build trust and develop positive relationships with co‑workers, government officials, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently develop and execute plans with a high level of detail, precision, and follow‑through.
