Affordable Housing Property Manager (LIHTC)

Are you an experienced Property Manager with a passion for affordable housing and building strong communities? Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a leader to oversee operations at Wynnbrook Pines in Florence, KY. In this role, you'll lead a dedicated team, ensure LIHTC compliance, drive property performance, and create an exceptional experience for residents.

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Exempt, salaried position
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies is required.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required based on business needs.

As the Property Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of an established affordable housing community while leading your team, maintaining compliance, and delivering exceptional service to residents.

• Oversee all daily operations of the community.
• Lead, coach, and develop onsite team members.
• Ensure excellent resident service and retention.
• Manage leasing performance and occupancy goals.
• Maintain LIHTC compliance, certifications, and resident files.
• Develop and manage operating budgets.
• Monitor property financial performance.
• Coordinate vendors and maintenance projects.
• Resolve resident concerns professionally.
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours calls as needed.
• Effectively communicate property performance, operational updates, and key initiatives with ownership, asset managers, and company leadership.

Required

• Minimum of three years of Property Manager experience.
• Experience with affordable housing, Tax Credit (LIHTC), HUD, or other housing compliance programs.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and property financial performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Preferred

• LIHTC certification or advanced Tax Credit experience.
• Experience using Real Page or similar property management software.
• Experience managing affordable housing communities.
