Operations Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Project Manager to lead and drive the successful execution of technical operations programs and projects within our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business profitability by coordinating cross‑functional teams, aligning resources to meet program objectives, and working on continuous improvement.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned new products, translating complex technical details and communicating with internal teams.
• Understand functionality of electrical components, data servers, and other electrical equipment.
• Interpret technical information such as Bill of Materials, floor layout, line balance, capacity and forecast analysis, and other industrial engineering tools.
• Develop and document system and tool functional specifications, KPIs, educational and training materials, plans, and timelines for flawless execution.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, managing customer relationships and expectations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget.
• Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to understand requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates.
• Drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing issues and maintaining open communication.
• Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for innovation and value creation.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and other departments to meet program goals.
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve conflicts or resource constraints to ensure smooth program execution.

• Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate program performance and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial and operational reports to senior leadership and customers.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans as needed to address changes in scope or priorities.
• Lead problem‑solving efforts for challenges that arise during program execution.

• Drive initiatives to improve program management processes and methodologies.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices to enhance future program performance.
• Support Jabil’s commitment to lean manufacturing and operational excellence.

• Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering philosophies and processes.
• Expert in functional discipline of Manufacturing Engineering and program management.
• Proven track record in driving and implementing change within and between functional organizations.
• Extremely strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with proven track record in communication, leadership, business analysis, process development, administration, and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• 6+ years with a Master’s degree or 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in program or project management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
