PACKAGING TEAM MEMBER - Full Time opportunity for 2nd shift!

Packaging Team Member is responsible for the efficient operation of the light packaging and curd room lines while accurately filling and securing our products to ship to customers. This position must practice safety in all aspects of the job. Additionally, this position must interact well with all other departments and be willing to learn and assist in other areas as needed.

• Maintain the duties of the department as per packaging supervisor’s instructions.
• Inspect package and seal of product in correct packaging.
• Assure proper labeling per order as set by the supervisor.
• Stack finished product within the proper boxes on a pallet.
• Understand the cleanup operation of the packaging department.
• Season cheese curds while following flavor profiles provided by the supervisor.
• Inspect weight and seal retail packages of cheese.
• Properly record production data.
• Maintain a sanitary workspace according to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow all current company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required (Basic) Education / Experience/ Competencies and Other

Skills:

• Must be punctual, dependable, and responsible.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma, equivalent, or eagerness to learn and work in the dairy industry.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repetitively.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Pass a drug & alcohol screen as well as a general background check.

Food plant environment. Must adhere to all food and plant safety policies and regulations.

Work with chemicals for cleaning purposes.

Full Time $16.00-$17.00/hr + benefits!

Days = 3:00pm - 1:00am, Monday through Thursday (four-10’s)

No Weekends or Holidays!

Must be 18 years of age.
