🕒 Full-Time | 1st Shift
🗓 Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Are you an experienced machinist who thrives on precision and programming challenges? Join our growing team and operate state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a clean, safety‑first, and technically advanced shop. We're hiring a Horizontal Boring Mill / Boring Bar Machinist to take on complex parts using one of our Kuraki Horizontal Boring Mills.

• Operate and program Horizontal Boring Mills using G-code and CAM software
• Set up and run complex parts to tight tolerances
• Load/unload parts and fixtures using cranes or by hand
• Adjust programs and troubleshoot independently
• Collaborate with your machine partner for efficiency and quality
• Perform in-process inspections (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, etc.)
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, well‑oiled machine environment
• Read and interpret CMM reports, blueprints, and setup sheets
• Follow all 6S, ISO, and safety procedures
• Take ownership of quality, scheduling, and machine readiness

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop setting
• Proven experience with complex boring mill work and programming
• Hands‑on knowledge of CAM software and G-code programming
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and familiarity with advanced tools
• Self‑motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

• Day‑shift hours with every Friday afternoon off
• Minimal travel and overtime required
• Temperature‑controlled, 99% indoor work environment
• Use of advanced machinery in a clean and organized facility
• PPE provided: safety glasses, steel toes, gloves/face shield when needed

• Understand rotary tables and centerlines of rotation
