ATI Materials - - - Responsibilities:
Receives work instructions, operation sheets, setup sheets, 1st piece and in-process check sheets from department supervision indicating the operations to be performed;
Reads and interprets dimension drawings, sketches, tool setup sheets and manufacturing instructions for performing required machining operation and setups;
Oversees and controls the operation of machining centers in the machining of forgings made from various types of super alloys with full support of the engineering and programming departments;
Uses precision or standard measuring devices to check machined dimensions and surface finishes conforming to customer prints and/or specifications;
Loads and unloads pieces using an overhead hoist
