Wave Machine Operator
We are looking to hire an experienced Wave Solder Operator or Selective Solder Operator to join a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electronic assembly. You will be part of the team supporting the Electronics Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Wave Solder Operator / Selective Solder Operator

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 + per hour

Shift: Day shift

What's the Job?

• Set up, operate, and maintain wave soldering equipment, including flux units, water wash units, solder pots, and selective solder machines.
• Create, modify, and manage soldering profiles to ensure consistent, high-quality solder joints.
• Inspect soldered PC boards and recognize defects according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor fellow team members to promote a skilled and efficient workforce.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience operating and maintaining wave solder machines.
• Minimum of 2 years creating and managing soldering profiles.
• Associates Degree in Electromechanical or Electronics - Preferred
• Strong knowledge of wave soldering processes, solder, flux, and RoHS compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and follow detailed assembly instructions.
