Job Description:
Title : Forklift Operator
Location: Appleton, WI
Duration: 0 – 4 Months
Shift : 7:
AM – 3 PM ( M-F)
Rate: $16.96/Hour
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Support package filling and material handling during the designated time period only (not a temp-to-hire role)
- Operate forklift to move materials to and from the warehouse
- Operate packaging lines using simple controls (e.g., push-button operations)
- Fill, label, and package drums, totes, IBCs, and pallets of liquid products
- Label drums and totes accurately
- Handle pallets of filled drums, totes/IBCs, and occasional powdered raw materials
- Stack goods in designated storage bays per inventory instructions
- Stack and organize empty pallets
- Check loads to ensure they are secure before transport
- Perform daily forklift and equipment checks (e.g., battery charging)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Examine finished products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Follow daily direction from process technicians and operators
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment at all times
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant)
- Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (if required)
- Comfortable operating forklifts and working around packaging lines
- Good math, reading, and language skills
- Basic computer skills may be required
- High attention to detail to ensure safety and quality
- Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and maintaining records
- Ability to execute assignments accurately, safely, and on time
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
