Overview:

Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring for a client seeking aProduction Supervisorfor the 2nd Shift. As aProduction Group Leader in Dryer, you will oversee a team to ensure successful day-to-day operations and achieve scheduled production requirements. The shift hours are from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and empower team members to contribute to this goal.
• Uphold respectful treatment of all team members in every interaction.
• Focus on waste reduction and developing team skills to enhance lean operations.
• Ensure proper training in safety, quality, equipment operation, and 5S.
• Collaborate with technical staff to ensure effective support.
• Set annual goals and objectives aligned with operating metrics.
• Continuously improve processes, reduce inventories, and manage work in progress.
• Act as the primary contact for employee relations issues.
• Interface with Union Stewards on contract and discipline matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• The role involves long periods of sitting, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting.

Requirements

MUST HAVE

• 1-3 years of experience in a medium/high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic press operations, as well as a basic understanding of die set-up and maintenance would be beneficial.
• Must be self-driven and ambitious with proven leadership capabilities, including providing coaching, mentoring and supervision within a team environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Previous professional, internship or co-op experience will be taken into consideration as relevant experience.

NICE TO HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations is preferred.
• Previous Assembly line supervision experience would be preferred.
• Basic understanding of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban and Lean manufacturing is preferred.
