Associate Supply Chain Planner
Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Associate Supply Chain Planner! We’re a farmer‑owned co‑op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.
Job Responsibilities- Configure planning systems to meet business objectives.
- Assist in creating master production schedules and inventory plans.
- Manage inventories to ensure accurate supply at distribution centers.
- Develop deployment strategies and configure deployment of planning systems to improve cost efficiency and reduce unsaleables.
- Communicate supply needs across supply chain teams and provide expertise on inventory processes for business units.
- Define daily production schedules and capabilities (changeovers, sequencing, sanitation, performance).
- Establish aligned plant capacity, rates, and calendars.
- Communicate attainment to plan and make adjustments.
- Support planning process and utilization of required tools.
- Facilitate meetings with key plant and corporate resources to ensure alignment to plan development and execution.
- Lead inventory management efforts, including material cycle counting and physical inventory planning.
- Act as resource on maintenance of WMS and Red Prairie.
- Manage materials disposition for obsolete materials, new production introductions, inventory turn targets, warehouse capacity analysis, material storage optimizations, FIFO, etc.
- Supervise support roles in planning to achieve planning objectives safely, timely, and cost‑effective.
- Experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Understanding of inventory strategies such as LIFO and FIFO.
- Computer skills (MS Office).
- Experience with Inventory Management System (SAP).
- At least 3years of related experience.
- No minimum educational requirement specified.
