IQ Resource Group is in search of an experienced Maintenance Technician for a well-established company in Neenah, WI. Ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and open to occasional weekends and on-call support.
Position: Maintenance Tech III
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Wage: $28- $32/hr
Location: Neenah, WI
Job Summary:
The Level 3 Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, installation, equipment repairs, continuous improvement and preventative / daily maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment
Essential Responsibilities:
- Promotes job safety, and is an active participant in the development of plant safety goals, policies and procedures
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Inspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rolls
- Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
- Respond to all breakdowns quickly and perform repairs correctly while performing quality work
- Check and review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basis
- Develop process capability changes to improve quality, reduce scrap and increase productivity
- Perform basic electrical preventative maintenance checks
- Operate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely
- Participate in cross-functional project groups
- Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices
- Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including research to determine parts required
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Ability to work occasional weekends along with participating in the maintenance on-call program.
:
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
- 4-6 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing.
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
- Fork / Aerial Lift Certified.
- Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing machinery / equipment.
