Performs operational duties, manufactures feeds, delivers products, maintains inventory, and is responsible for housekeeping and repairs of the facility.

• Manufacturing and handling of all feeds, ensuring proper sequencing of products to produce the correct feeds.
• Assist with inventory and records of all feeds.
• Protect product from damage.
• Maintain proper inventory paperwork at the facility for deliveries and complete physical inventories as required.
• Monitor inventory for current seasonal and daily needs.
• Maintain a record of each batch of feed produced to document a quality manufacturing program.
• Maintain records of all medicated feed additives as required by state law.
• Inform the Branch Manager of the need for major building and equipment repairs as well as recommendations for annual fixed asset purchases.
• Maintain location housekeeping.
• Ensure safe use of tools and equipment and appropriate use of personal protective equipment by all employees at the location and report unsafe conditions to the Location Manager.
• Deliver products to customers.
• Schedule all major equipment repairs.

• Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years or more of related work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift operation certification and a Commercial Driver’s License. Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and Mixer Loader Pesticide Certified & License are preferred.
• Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Normally requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to work extended hours, travel independently and overnight, and participate in required training.

• Continuously exposed or required to extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.), dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures, varying heights, lift 51‑70 lbs, and push heavy objects.
