Warehouse Material Handler - 2nd Shift - Temporary

Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercarriage parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm and Sundays, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm or until work is completed. Overtime is required as needed. This is a temporary position with a tentative end date through the end of August 2026.

Highly competitive wages starting at $21.00 per hour.

• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout each shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; when lifting commercial tires, perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
• Apply a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
• Operate safely at heights up to 25 feet on stock racks and during equipment operation.
• Remain on the move and stay on your feet for extended periods; be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist other departments such as e‑commerce and inventory when business needs arise.
• Assist with other job‑related tasks and follow any instructions given by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Employees must be qualified to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks include frequent lifting of up to 80 pounds, applying a pushing force of up to 40 pounds, handling commercial tires, and working at heights of 25 feet. Protective equipment such as steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, and self‑retracting lifeline are required. Work may expose employees to weather, moderate noise, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
• At least 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or relevant experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally 80 pounds.
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial tires.
• Ability to work safely at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment.
• Adherence to all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Pass forklift certification as required.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test (no THC or marijuana testing).
