Position Summary

Rooted in a rich railroad heritage, Hager City is one of our two factories in Wisconsin—located across the Mississippi River from Red Wing, Minnesota and about 250 miles from our location in Jefferson. Over 50 dedicated associates come together to produce wet and dry coatings for our pet food brands nationwide, making this location truly special. As a Production Operator at our Hager City, WI facility, you’ll enjoy competitive weekly pay starting at $30.48/hour with an opportunity to increase to $34.09/hour after 6 months. Other perks include eligibility for overtime pay, quarterly bonus, and you will be eligible for the Nestlé 401K Savings Plan with company-matched contributions (up to a limit) to help you save for retirement.

You may be eligible for a retirement pension benefit. Purina offers earned vacation, sick, and personal time for you to use throughout the year.

Must be willing to work both shifts: 7am-7pm AND 7pm-7am

As a Production Operator, you are a valued and critical team member. You’ll train in several areas within the factory so you can learn the operations and be a pivotal asset in our factory. Learning safety policies and standard ways of working as a member of our team are key to our overall success. Because we’re a safety-first culture, you’ll help ensure top-notch operations, maintenance, cleanliness, and standard operations of the equipment.

• Follow all Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies and Programs
• Develop working knowledge and safety of production equipment and operations according to developed standards
• Provide support to operators in Packaging, Processing, and Warehouse departments
• Transport products with a forklift while maintaining safety standards
• Ensure a clean and safe environment including sanitation, sweeping, and cleaning of machinery

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, agriculture or related environment

Other

• 1+ year of forklift experience preferred

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $30.48. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
