About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead industrial engineering initiatives in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who can drive throughput improvement, productivity gains, and operational efficiency while collaborating closely with production and plant leadership.

You will play a key role in identifying constraints, optimizing workflows, and implementing sustainable continuous improvement strategies to support both immediate production goals and long‑term transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to improve plant throughput and production output
  • Analyze production performance and identify capacity constraints
  • Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement
  • Develop and implement standard work and labor benchmarks
  • Perform line balancing, bottleneck analysis, and capacity planning
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) initiatives
  • Improve workstation design, material flow, and operator efficiency
  • Identify and eliminate waste and non-value-added activities
  • Develop scalable processes to support future growth and flexibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics, and engineering
  • Support digital manufacturing and simulation-based optimization initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Automotive Engineering
  • 8–10 years of Industrial Engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of improving throughput and productivity
Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in time study, method study, and work measurement
  • Experience with standard work development and line balancing
  • Knowledge of capacity and bottleneck analysis
  • Experience in value stream mapping (VSM)
  • Plant layout and process flow optimization experience
  • Lean Manufacturing tools including Kaizen, 5S, SMED, visual management, and waste elimination
  • Knowledge of TOC, ergonomics, and safety standards
  • Hands‑on experience with Excel and MS Office
  • MOST / MODAPTS experience preferred
  • Exposure to simulation tools such as Proplanner or Plant Simulation
  • MS Project and AutoCAD knowledge are added advantages
Preferred Industry Experience
  • Trucks manufacturing
  • Heavy equipment / off-highway
  • Agricultural or construction equipment
  • Specialty or customized vehicle manufacturing
  • Strong problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands‑on approach with willingness to spend time on the shop floor
  • Ability to influence teams and leadership through analytical insights
