Entry Level Painter
This position involves working in a manufacturing facility focused on structural steel, components for the construction industry, and various other metal projects. You will be asked to assist with preparing parts for paint, masking and taping parts, material handling, spraying wet paint and primer coatings, and touching up missed spots. We are willing to train someone with minimal painting experience looking to start a career in this trade.
Responsibilities- Prepare projects for coatings by washing, taping, and masking surfaces
- Spray wet paint and primer on metal materials
- Inspect final coatings and complete touch-up painting as needed
- Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move materials
- 1+ year painting experience preferred, but not required
- Experience spraying paint using HVLP, Airless or Air-Assisted sprayers preferred
- Commercial, Industrial, or Residential painting will be considered
You will work on a consistent schedule, enjoy a close-knit shop environment, and have the opportunity to use and further develop your industrial painting and material-handling skills. The small-team setting offers autonomy, trust, and the ability to see the impact of your work every day.
This is a permanent position based out of Appleton, WI. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
