Press Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Press Operator to join their team. As a Press Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $20-$22  $2 plus night premium*
* ** Shift: Day and Night shift (12's)*
* ** Training:*
* ** Monday to Thursday on 12's - after trained move to 2-2-3 schedule*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Support the primary operator in setting up and operating flexographic presses to produce high-quality print and coating on various substrates.

+ Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet customer specifications and standards.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, including cleaning, general maintenance, and adjustments to optimize performance.

+ Accurately record production data and equipment logs using company systems such as ERP (EPICOR).

+ Adhere to all safety procedures, safety equipment, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

+ Ability to pass a color perception test.

+ One to three years of flexographic press operation or related experience preferred.

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems.

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
