Manufacturing Trainee; Plate Maker

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay: $22/hour

Propelis has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Trainee (Plate Maker). This is an entry-level role that requires no manufacturing experience. Propelis provides fully paid, on-the-job training in a team-oriented environment. We offer climate-controlled work and opportunities for growth based on individual performance. Responsibilities and expectations include learning multiple aspects of our manufacturing process, participating in two performance/wage reviews within the first year, and contributing to the production process as part of a dynamic, future-focused team.

Education & Experience

• No manufacturing experience required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Flexible to work overtime

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Positioning material with carts and overhead cranes
• Standing/walking for the majority of shift
• Near vision for inspection of work
• Occasional pushing/pulling of carts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $22 USD hourly, and pay decisions consider location, experience, and other job-related factors.
