* Job Description:
** We're currently recruiting for a passionate Team Leader for our Facilities team to lead and coordinate activities for the department.
** THE DAY TO DAY...
*** Lead daily department operations, including filling in for employee absences as needed.
* Complete purchasing and invoicing activities as required.
* Oversee and coordinate custodial operations across all Brillion facilities on 1st and 2nd shifts.
* Lead and coach Facilities staff, including participation in corrective action and disciplinary matters as required.
* Train employees and implement custodial processes and procedures.
* Monitor dumpster levels and coordinate with vendors for timely service and removal.
* Lead and oversee facility sanitization processes.
* Generate monthly TPM/PM work orders for Buildings and Grounds.
* Assist with and oversee Hospitality work orders through completion.
* Serve as backup support for the Facilities Manager as needed.
* Adhere to and promote established standard work practices.
* Create, maintain, audit, and continuously improve standard work.
* Train new hires, transferred employees, and cross-trained team members.
* Utilize root cause problem-solving techniques to address issues impacting departmental goals and performance.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of waste elimination, continuous improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery, with the ability to identify and eliminate waste.
* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other Ariens Company personnel.
** THE QUALIFICATIONS...
*** Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
* Training and communication skills
* Understanding of Lean and 6S
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to create, edit, format, and maintain documents and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
* Understands and has the ability to utilize the Ariens Company Standardized Problem Solving Process
* Past leadership experience preferred
* Additional education in lean, leadership, or manufacturing preferred
* May require quarterly day travel to Kenosha location
