Winder Operator I

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Winder Operator I to join their team. As a Winder Operator I, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Greenville, WI

Pay Range: $23.00

Shift: Train on 1st shift (11:00am-9:00pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-1am) Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

  • Review job orders to determine appropriate equipment and materials needed for production.
  • Set up and operate winding machines, adjusting angles, tension, and spacing for optimal output.
  • Prepare glue pots and ensure proper adhesive application for quality tubes.
  • Verify measurements such as outer diameter, core thickness, and tube length, documenting findings regularly.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and cleaning, to ensure smooth operation.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
