Your Role:
Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department
- Assists with machine setup.
- Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
- Monitors rewinder machine operations.
- Assists with routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
- Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
- Effectively works with other departments or team members.
- Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience with rewinding equipment a plus
- Basic mechanical and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude
